Mayor's Office for Education & Children

The Mayor's Office for Education and Children (MOEC) partners with other city agencies and community based organizations to leverage resources and provide comprehensive services to support parents as teachers and prepare children for kindergarten. 

Denver Human Services Board

This board is responsible for advising Denver Human Services on policy, budgets and operations.

Denver Welfare Reform Board

This board is tasked with adopting policies and rules and regulations regarding Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).

Mayor's Early Childhood Education Commission

This commission advises the Director of the Office of Child Care Initiatives on matters concerning early childhood education and child care for city employees and residents of Denver (excluding matters pertaining to the Denver Head Start Program).
