Lalania works closely with the DECC staff and Council members providing administrative support for various components of the DECC's programmatic work.  She also performs administrative tasks related to the School Readiness Quality Improvement program including processing professional development and materials requests as well as managing the individual Provider budgets. Interesting Things about Me: I am a craft addict! I spend much of my free time making beautiful things, which I sell online, and at local craft shows.

Through the Council, Nicole is responsible for administering the quality-improvement grants to Providers for the Denver Preschool Program and the School Readiness Quality Improvement program. The quality improvement funds can be used to make improvements to the indoor and outdoor learning environments, for classroom materials and equipment, for professional development and on-site coaching. Please call Nicole with questions regarding Quality Improvement Program contractual issues, invoicing, coaching, program operation, or processes and procedures.

Interesting Things about Me: I am a Colorado native and love to spend time outdoors in our beautiful state. My husband and I also love to travel, and some of our favorite destinations include Spain, the Caribbean islands (via cruise ship) and Las Vegas. I recently completed my first sprint distance triathlon this summer (.5 mile swim, 12 mile bike, 5k run) and my new project for the upcoming winter will be learning how to sew!
